May I ask, what are the types of stainless steel materials that are not sensitive to chloride corrosion? What is their highest requirement for chloride ion levels? Thank you!
The corrosion caused by CL ions is highly dependent on the concentration of CL ions in the medium, whether the medium contains water, the pH value of the medium, and the temperature of the medium. It seems that there are no data on the corrosion resistance of stainless steel in the standards for the petroleum refining and chemical industries.
