Sanshuo Coatings (Huai’an) launches a new 20,000-ton capacity project for high-performance industrial coatings

Sanshuo Coatings (Huai’an) is building a new facility for the production of 20,000 tons of high-performance industrial coatings. Recently, the Huai’an Environmental Protection Bureau issued a public notice regarding the environmental impact assessment for this project, which aims to produce 20,000 tons of high-performance industrial coatings per year by Sanshuo Coatings (Huai’an) Limited. The total investment in this project amounts to 125 million yuan. It is planned to be built on the south side of Zhangma Road and the west side of Huaijin Road in the Huai’an Industrial Park, covering an area of 23,233 square meters. It is reported that once completed, the project will be able to produce 8,000 tons of epoxy coatings, 5,000 tons of acrylic coatings, 3,000 tons of polyurethane coatings, 1,000 tons of water-based coatings, and 3,000 tons of solvents per year. The products produced can be used in fields such as aerospace, navigation, semiconductors, automobiles, and consumer electronics. As the entity responsible for implementing the project, Sanshuo Coatings (Huai’an) Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Suzhou Sanshuo Chemical Co., Ltd. It was registered in Huai’an on November 14, 2024, with a registered capital of 30 million yuan. Its legal representative is Jin Jianfeng, and its main business activities involve the manufacturing of chemical raw materials and chemical products. The company is committed to providing customers with high-quality coating solutions. By establishing an integrated industrial functional coating industry chain model that covers research, development, production, and sales, we focus on developing and delivering innovative and high-performance coating products. It is worth noting that the project officially commenced construction on March 18 this year in the Huai’an Industrial Park. The construction period is approximately 12 months, with production expected to start in the first quarter of 2025. Cui Buyin, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Huai’an Industrial Park, said at the inauguration ceremony that the establishment of the Sanshuo high-performance industrial coatings project in the park will not only strengthen Sanshuo Company’s influence in the field of high-end chemical materials, but it will also complement the existing industrial chains in the park, thereby facilitating collaborative innovation and joint development among enterprises along the entire value chain. With the rapid expansion of industries such as new energy vehicles and semiconductors, the market demand for high-performance coatings continues to rise. The implementation of the Sanshuo Coatings project is aimed at seizing this market opportunity. The products planned to be produced are environmentally friendly and resource-saving coatings with low VOC content; they not only align with the **“dual carbon” strategy**, but also meet the green production requirements of downstream enterprises.
