Seeking advice on the buried design of superheated steam pipelines

We are designing steam pipelines for our clients, with a DN80 pipeline to be introduced from the park’s pipe corridor (at a pipe elevation of 7 meters) into the factory area (separated by a 40-meter road). The pipeline is required to be buried at a depth of 3 meters; it has a diameter of DN80, with a pressure rating of 1.6 Mpa and a temperature tolerance of 350°C. What aspects need to be taken into consideration? What are the reference specifications? Thank you. Additionally, the operating condition for this pipeline once it arrives at the plant is 0.4 Mpa saturated steam; how can the temperature be reduced? ,
I turned out to be the first one to reply. I understand that a temperature and pressure reducing unit should be installed; it’s not recommended to lay steam pipes underground, but it seems there’s no other option in your case. The buried part should be made hydrophobic in a timely manner to prevent water hammer ； Another aspect is material selection ； Flexible design is also important
