To meet the requirements related to staggered production during the summer, and taking into account the actual operating conditions of the plants, the company arranged for an annual maintenance campaign for the three sets of equipment, which lasted around one month and started on August 1st. At present, Units 1 and 3 have completed maintenance and resumed production operations, while the resumption plan for Unit 2 has been postponed due to the need to eliminate safety risks associated with its operation. This maintenance campaign represents the first time that the company’s facilities in phases one, two, and three have been subjected to maintenance simultaneously. There are over 9,000 maintenance tasks across various specialties, including 14 key projects at the company level; thus, the scale of these maintenance tasks is extremely large and unprecedented. To win this challenging maintenance task, all the units involved carried out thorough preparation and systematic organization prior to the maintenance, formulating detailed and targeted maintenance plans as well as construction procedures. Once the maintenance work began, all personnel involved overcame difficulties such as tight schedules, heavy workload, and high temperatures, under the guidance of the main maintenance command center and various specialized teams. They adhered strictly to the company’s overall work plan and followed the designated milestones, ensuring that all maintenance tasks were carried out as planned. Through this maintenance, the bottlenecks and potential risks that hindered the optimal operation of the device were effectively resolved. Technical improvement projects such as the upgrade of the flue gas flow rate for boilers No. 4 and No. 5, the integrated desulfurization and dust removal renovation for boilers No. 1 and No. 2, and the dust control system for the urea granulation tower have been successfully put into operation, enhancing the company’s inherent safety and environmental protection capabilities ; The defects in the five high-pressure units of the urea plant were addressed in a reliable manner; leaky heat exchangers were replaced in the gasification, synthesis, and dimethylamine production sections ; Targeted major overhauls were carried out on the five units in the synthesis workshop, improving their operational efficiency and reliability ; The first and second phase transformations, 708 sulfur recovery, and catalyst replacement using liquid nitrogen were all completed successfully ; The electrical department completed on schedule the renovation of 60 6KV switchgear units at the 301 main substation and the 315C substation, thereby completely eliminating the risks that could affect the long-term stable operation of these installations. Meanwhile, as a result of this maintenance work, the Hazardous Chemicals Association pointed out that corrective actions should be carried out promptly during the major repair period; the company’s pressure vessels, pipelines, and safety valves were all inspected in accordance with **standards. The efforts to address leaks in the company’s water and steam systems, as well as the water-saving projects, were implemented as planned. Through the joint efforts of all the companies involved in the inspection and support activities, this major maintenance campaign has seen the completion of the maintenance work on the company’s Units 1 and 3. The systems have returned to a stable state of high-load operation, thereby contributing to the achievement of the company’s annual business goals and laying a foundation for its high-quality development.
