Author/Source: Jinfeng Coal Chemical Industry; Date: 2019-09-20; Clicks: 23. On September 12, the Yuncheng Environmental Protection Bureau officially approved the Environmental Impact Report submitted by the Wenxi Branch of Shanxi Jinfeng Coal Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. regarding this optimization and upgrade project. The main approval details include the construction of a pilot plant for the \"Jinhang Furnace\", the phasing out of the fixed-bed batch gasifiers in the ammonia synthesis system, and the installation of micro-pressure pure oxygen gasifiers with a production capacity of 180,000 tons per year for ammonia and 60,000 tons per year for methanol. Additionally, it involves the demolition of the existing 19 fixed-bed batch gasifiers and the upgrading of the No. 1 ammonia synthesis system. During the initial stage of the environmental impact assessment, amid challenging conditions such as tight timelines, heavy workload, and numerous uncertainties, the company’s leadership took overall charge of the process, organized it carefully, and overcame various difficulties. They worked closely with the design institute to include both the “Jinhang Furnace” project and the renovation project of the No. 2 ammonia synthesis gas generation system within the environmental impact assessment for the production system. Each task was detailed, with responsibilities assigned to specific individuals. They coordinated with relevant departments to make necessary adjustments to the project documentation, developed a renovation plan for the gas generation furnace in the No. 2 system, accelerated soil and groundwater sampling and monitoring, and collaborated with the Yuncheng Water Resources Survey and Design Institute to prepare an assessment report on the flood control implications related to the Susui River in the Wenxi branch office’s premises, ensuring that all requirements were met and that the relevant information was made publicly available. After more than two months of effort, the Wenxi branch completed the \"Environmental Impact Report for the Production System Optimization and Upgrade Project.\" On August 22nd, it passed the expert review conducted by the Planning Center of the Yuncheng Ecology and Environment Bureau. Subsequent revisions to the report were made, and it was made public. The preliminary review of the environmental impact report by the Wenxi County Environmental Protection Bureau, as well as the assessment of total pollutant emissions, were carried out, before the report was submitted to the Yuncheng Ecology and Environment Bureau for final approval. The environmental impact assessment for the project has been successfully approved, which will play a key role in promoting the transformation and development of Wenxi Company. Once the \"Jinhang Furnace\" project and the 80,000-ton recovery system come online, they will create favorable conditions for Jinmei Group to find outlets for its lump coal as well as for the company to overcome its financial difficulties.
Environmental regulations force enterprises to upgrade and transform.
There are both atmospheric and pressurized vaporization methods, and this small scale is already complex enough
Congratulations on the successful ignition and heating-up of the Jinhang furnace!
