The prevailing transaction price in Linfen has risen by 30–60 yuan per ton, reaching 1,630–1,680 yuan per ton ex-works in cash ； The offline price in the Changzhi area is 1,700 yuan per ton, ex-works in cash ； The price of mainstream products in Jincheng area has risen by 50 yuan/ton, reaching 1600 yuan/ton ex-works in cash ； Prices for Lüliang and Yuncheng are not available yet ； The prevailing transaction price in Datong is 1,600 yuan per ton, ex-works in cash. Currently, corporate shipments are showing improvement, inventory levels have decreased to some extent, and a larger volume of goods is flowing to regions such as Shandong and Hebei. In central Shandong, the market price of methanol rose slightly by 30 yuan per ton, with prices ranging from 1800 to 1830 yuan per ton at the time of delivery; in some cases, the price was as high as 1930 yuan per ton. Transactions were limited, with most deals being based on existing contracts. In the Dongying area of Shandong, the transaction price of methanol has risen by 10 yuan per ton, reaching 1850–1860 yuan per ton ex-warehouse in the nearby areas. Market sentiment remains decent, but downstream buyers are proceeding with purchases cautiously. In southern Shandong, the ex-factory price of methanol in the market is around 1,820–1,840 yuan per ton. Some contracts are already in effect; there are no current quotes available for goods delivered in Linyi, nor any quotes for goods transported by logistics. Most MTOs are focused on receiving deliveries, and it is reported that some formaldehyde manufacturers show signs of stockpiling. The ex-plant prices in the methanol market of northern Jiangsu have temporarily stabilized at 1,950 yuan per ton in cash terms, while most suppliers have not yet provided prices. MTO companies mainly handle receiving goods. The methanol market in Fujian remains stable; some deals are being made at 2150–2170 yuan per ton including taxes, with modest trading volume. There are no new prices for methanol plants in the Qinghai region this week. Due to gas supply restrictions during winter, Qinghai Zhonghao ceased operations for maintenance starting on October 23, 2019, with production expected to resume in March.
