The initiative requires management and technical personnel to carefully break down the goals for the 100-day campaign in line with the project plan, to develop scientific strategies for carrying out this campaign, and to be bold in taking initiatives, assuming responsibilities, and innovating. Working on the construction site around the clock, and while striving to meet deadlines and keep schedules on track, we strengthen safety monitoring and follow-up actions, promptly coordinating to resolve any difficulties that arise during construction, thereby ensuring the smooth implementation of the project plans. On the evening of April 3, after 18 days of travel, the 250T heavy haul vehicle convoy that set off from Deyang, Sichuan, arrived at Sanning Chemical in Zhijiang, Yichang, Hubei, and safely delivered the conversion reactor – the core equipment for China’s largest isothermal conversion process in ethylene glycol production, manufactured in Sichuan. As the commissioning date of the boiler for the ethylene glycol project approaches, the auxiliary systems have also entered a intensive installation phase. After half a month of effort, the piping for the steam lines has been completed, and the piping for air, pure methanol, and methanol residues is being finished step by step. The installation work for the auxiliary pipe galleries, circulating water systems, fire-fighting water systems, etc. within the plant is also being carried out in an orderly manner. From the total ethylene glycol storage tank area, sections H, C, B, G, and E to the boiler and the top pipe rack of the primary water station, the pipes in the middle and lower layers are also extremely busy. The fire protection facilities required for the commissioning of the boiler are in place, and the flushing and pressure testing of the fire protection pipelines are also progressing as planned. In addition, the installation of the #1 and #5 circulating water systems is nearing completion; two-thirds of the pipeline installation for the #4 circulating water system has been finished, and the installation of the #2 and #3 circulating water systems has begun. After installation is complete, pressure testing of the circulating water pipeline and cleaning and pre-coating of the circulating water system will begin. The Hubei Sanning Ammonia Synthesis Raw Material Structure Adjustment and 600,000 tons/year Ethylene Glycol Production Project (Phase I) is based on the 520,000 tons/year ammonia production capacity of Sanning Company’s urea plant and Tiantian Company’s plants. Without increasing this capacity, the existing urea production facilities that use bituminous coal as raw material and rely on atmospheric-pressure batch fixed-bed gasifiers, atmospheric-pressure desulfurization processes, and high-pressure ammonia synthesis, as well as the downstream urea and ammonium bicarbonate production units, are to be phased out. The total estimated investment for this project is 10 billion yuan; it involves the construction of a new facility that uses high-quality Shenhua coal as raw material to produce 400,000 tons per year of ethylene glycol and 520,000 tons per year of synthetic ammonia ; Using sulfur as raw material, 800,000 tons per year of industrial-grade sulfuric acid is produced.
