In the Shenyang area, the price is stable at 1,680–1,700 yuan per ton, ex-works. At present, most parties are waiting to see how things develop, with downstream users making purchases based on their needs. The price of methanol in Inner Mongolia has not been announced yet. Given the numerous maintenance activities at local plants and the limited supply of goods available for sale, prices are expected to show a slight upward trend this week. Trading in Henan’s methanol market remains stagnant. The quotes from the key enterprises in Henan saw a slight increase compared to last week, while the quotes from other enterprises remained stable. The reference price for goods leaving the factories is 1450–1470 yuan per ton; in the Luoyang market, the reference price is 1480–1490 yuan per ton in cash terms. Purchasers are cautious, and only small orders are being placed. The prevailing transaction price in Linfen, Shanxi has risen by 20 yuan per ton, reaching 1,400–1,430 yuan per ton for cash delivery ； In the Changzhi area, the offline price has risen by 20 yuan per ton, reaching 1,470 yuan per ton, with delivery against cash payment ； The price of mainstream products in the Jincheng area has risen by 10 yuan per ton, reaching 1,410 yuan per ton for cash delivery ； In the Lüliang area, the auction price has reached 1,440 yuan per ton, with cash payment required for delivery ； In the Yuncheng area, the reference mainstream price remains stable at 1,420–1,460 yuan per ton, with delivery in cash ； The prevailing transaction price in the Datong area is 1,440 yuan per ton, with cash payment upon delivery. At the beginning of the week, most companies apply the weekend prices; shipments proceed as usual, with a cautious attitude prevailing. In the methanol market in southern Shandong, the prevailing prices have risen by 10–20 yuan per ton, reaching around 1580–1590 yuan per ton in cash terms. In Linyi, prices for locally sourced goods are around 1580–1600 yuan per ton including delivery costs; however, there is currently no supply available for logistics delivery. The impact of goods from outside the province is limited, the market remains strong, and the morale of most players is supported. The transaction price of methanol in the northern Shandong region remains stable at 1,540–1,560 yuan per ton, ex-warehouse and in cash; market sentiment is moderate, with most parties adopting a wait-and-see attitude. In central Shandong, the local delivery price for methanol remains stable at 1,650–1,660 yuan per ton in cash upon delivery, while the price for goods delivered from outside this area stays roughly at 1,540–1,550 yuan per ton in cash upon delivery. Sales performance is average; I’ll wait and see for now. Quotations in the methanol market of northern Jiangsu have risen by 20 yuan per ton, reaching around 1620–1630 yuan per ton in cash terms; support from southern Shandong and market trends have helped keep suppliers’ optimism relatively strong. The methanol market in the Two Lakes region remained stable with slight fluctuations. Hubei-based companies offer prices that remain relatively stable with only slight fluctuations; the actual ex-factory price is around 1575–1600 yuan per ton in cash terms ； The quoted price for the Hunan market is around 1,720–1,750 yuan per ton in cash terms. At the beginning of the week, there was much hesitation on the part of buyers, resulting in a stagnant level of actual transactions. The methanol market in Fujian remains stable, with prices at some of the main storage areas holding steady at around 1,550–1,560 yuan per ton including taxes upon delivery. Market demand is limited, and transaction volume is average.
