The Nitrogen Fertilizer Association honors enterprises that made outstanding achievements in energy conservation within the methanol industry in 2019 Author/Source: Sinochem News Network Date: August 20, 2020 Clicks: 7 On August 20, the China Nitrogen Fertilizer Industry Association held a grand ceremony in Ordos City, Inner Mongolia, to recognize the enterprises that excelled in energy conservation in the methanol industry during 2019. The commendation decision issued by the China Nitrogen Industry Association states that in 2019, China’s methanol production enterprises achieved significant results in tapping into energy-saving potential, advancing energy conservation and emission reduction, and improving energy utilization efficiency. The China Nitrogen Fertilizer Industry Association has decided to honor those enterprises that have made outstanding contributions to energy conservation and emission reduction by awarding them the title of \"Advanced Units in Energy Conservation within the Methanol Industry for 2019\". Five enterprises that use bituminous coal as raw material – Anhui Hua Yi Chemical Co., Ltd., Shandong Hualu Hengsheng Group Co., Ltd., Anhui Haoyuan Chemical Group Co., Ltd., Anhui Jinmei Zhongneng Chemical Co., Ltd., and Weihe Jieneng Co., Ltd. in Weinan High-Tech Zone – two enterprises that use natural gas as raw material – Chongqing Kabile Chemical Co., Ltd. and CNOOC Jiantao Chemical Co., Ltd. – and the Bayannur Methanol Plant of **Energy Group’s Coking Company**, which uses coke oven gas as raw material, were awarded the title of Advanced Enterprises in Energy Conservation within the methanol industry for 2019. The Nitrogen Fertilizer Association hopes that the recognized enterprises will continue to strive hard and make greater contributions to further improving the energy-saving and emission-reduction levels of China’s methanol industry.
