After preliminary evaluations by local environmental protection departments and experts, followed by review and public announcement by the city’s Environmental Protection Bureau, Jiangsu Supo Chemical Co., Ltd. was identified as one of the first 17 enterprises to be exempt from such restrictions; it is also the only chemical enterprise in the entire city to receive such an exemption. Since the beginning of this year, Suopu Co., Ltd. has invested 1.46 million yuan in installing access control and monitoring systems, aiming to enhance the intelligence level of such systems and to ensure proper video storage of vehicles, vehicle identification and electronic record-keeping, as well as vehicle trajectory tracking ； When selecting transportation contractors, increase the proportion of vehicles meeting National V standards and new energy vehicles ； Strengthen environmental protection controls throughout the entire production process to achieve exemption from the stringent environmental requirements imposed on Class B enterprises. At the same time, in order to actively respond to the \"2020 Action Plan for Controlling Volatile Organic Compounds\" issued by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the company regards the control of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) as an important task in the effort to protect the blue sky. An investment of 10 million yuan has been made to carry out a project aimed at thoroughly treating VOCs from the exhaust gases and storage tanks of the ethyl acetate production facility, thereby further improving the efficiency of VOCs collection and disposal.
