In the Shenyang area, the price stays steady at 2,130–2,150 yuan per ton, ex-warehouse. Traders are selling at a moderate pace, while downstream buyers make purchases according to their needs. The market price of methanol in Qinghai region is currently unavailable. Due to gas supply restrictions during winter, all the major gas-based production facilities in this region are shut down for maintenance, with production expected to resume in March 2021. The prevailing transaction price in Linfen, Shanxi has risen by 50 yuan per ton, reaching 1,930 yuan per ton for cash delivery ； The offline price in the Changzhi area is 2,070 yuan per ton, with cash payment upon delivery ； In the Jincheng region, the prevailing transaction price has risen by 100 yuan/ton to 1,880–1,980 yuan/ton on a spot cash basis at delivery ； There are no auctions available in the Lüliang area for now. Quotations in Henan’s methanol market rose, while on-site negotiations weakened. Henan-based companies have raised their quotes; the actual ex-factory price is around 1,960–1,980 yuan per ton ； Negotiated prices in the Luoyang market have risen to 1,980–2,020 yuan per ton. The methanol market in Anhui region continues to see price increases of 30-50 yuan per ton, bringing the price to 2120-2130 yuan per ton for delivery upon acceptance. Local methanol manufacturers are not under much pressure, and the market trading atmosphere is fairly good. The methanol market in the Two Lakes region is operating in a stabilized manner, with slight price increases in some areas. Some enterprises in Hubei have raised their quotes; the ex-factory reference price is 2090–2160 yuan per ton ； In the Hunan market, negotiations remain stable, with quoted prices ranging from 2,240 to 2,260 yuan per ton. The methanol market in Fujian region is on the rise; prices at major storage areas have increased by 30–70 yuan per ton, reaching around 2110–2120 yuan per ton including taxes. The atmosphere in these markets is moderate, with purchases being made mainly based on demand.
