Progress on the Construction of the High-Efficiency Exhaust Gas Purification System for the Granulation Tower at Inner Mongolia Ordos United Chemical Co., Ltd. Author/Source: Shanghai Jingye Environmental Protection Energy Technology. Date: 2021-11-22. Clicks: 17. An important milestone has been reached in the construction of the high-efficiency exhaust gas purification system for the granulation tower at Inner Mongolia Ordos United Chemical Co., Ltd.! --- The main structure of the system has been assembled and is ready for lifting into place. The project has completed the prefabrication of the main structure at the base of the tower as scheduled, and the system will be lifted into place at an appropriate time; installation and commissioning are expected to begin shortly. 2021 marked the beginning of the 14th Five-Year Plan period. Inner Mongolia Ordos United Chemical was the first in the region to install an efficient purification system for exhaust gases generated during high-tower granulation; this approach features technological innovation and advanced performance standards, enabling it to maintain a competitive edge in terms of environmental protection. It is capable of meeting the requirements for ultra-low emissions over the next decade, thus laying a solid foundation for carrying out effective efforts to protect the blue sky during this planning period. Construction of the project began in October 2021, with operation scheduled to start in January 2022. Once operational, it will enable a significant reduction in the total amount of pollutants emitted and eliminate the white smoke trails from tall towers. Thanks to the use of forward-looking technologies, in addition to exhaust emissions being far below current standards, water vapor and ammonia – which are subject to strict controls under future policies – are also regulated, thereby enabling companies to avoid the risks associated with changes in policies and standards that could impact their production. As the first new-type green high-tower granulation system in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the Ordos United Chemicals project represents the company’s response to the requirements set out in the \"Opinions of the Central Committee and the State Council on Further Intensifying Efforts to Combat Pollution\" and the \"Comprehensive Plan for Addressing Air Pollution during the Autumn and Winter Periods 2021–2022\" regarding precise and scientific approaches to pollution control as well as efforts to reduce pollution and carbon emissions. This project will serve as a model for achieving regional emission reductions, contributing to the continuous improvement of air quality, and helping to meet the goals of reducing PM2.5 levels; it will thus become a benchmark for the region.
