Our plant’s ammonia synthesis unit uses reciprocating compressors for gas compression. Since these compressors are oil-lubricated, a large amount of waste oil and water is generated during the compression process. At present, our plant uses ferrous sulfate to treat this waste oil and water, but the treatment results are often unsatisfactory. Nowadays, environmental inspections are very strict, and chemical manufacturing companies face significant environmental pressures. Is there a better and more cost-effective method for treating this waste?
