Sichuan Jiuyuan – there, there is a KBR synthesis tower. It involves the modification of a 1000 t/d ammonia synthesis system using KBR ruthenium-based towers, as well as the design and manufacture of alternative towers based on this technology; the diameter of these towers is Φ2200. They were put into use in December 2014. The cascade process used results in an ammonia purity of 6.5%, which exceeds the designed capacity.
