Hubei Phosphorus Chemical Huangmailing Develops New Water-Soluble Fertilizer Author/Source: Sinochem News Network Date: 11-04-2020 Clicks: 8 On October 20, the first batch of nitro 19-19-19 water-soluble fertilizer products, developed and produced independently by Huangmailing Biotechnology Company of Hubei Phosphorus Chemical Group Co., Ltd., was successfully manufactured. According to quality inspection analysis, all indicators meet the **standards, and the product quality satisfies market requirements. With this, the Hubei phosphated fertilizer product line gains another new member. Hubei Phosphating’s original nitro-sulfur series of fertilizer products had high levels of water-insoluble substances, with coal ash enclosed within the particles. To this end, the development of a series of water-soluble fertilizers suitable for drip irrigation has been included in the company’s technical improvement initiatives. Through preliminary research, experiments, and process calculations, the R&D and technical staff determined that the three water-soluble fertilizer products of nitro 19-19-19, nitro 17-17-17, and nitro 13-10-30 should be developed and produced. Technical upgrades were carried out in December 2019; by June 2020 the corresponding production facilities were ready, and they were operational by July. During the trial operation and commercial production phases, the technical department of Phosphating Group and Huangmailing Company carried out further research and efforts, and successfully found ways to reduce water-insoluble substances and improve the appearance of the products. Huangmailing Company thoroughly cleaned the production equipment, ensured that raw materials were matched precisely to all specified batch numbers, and resolved issues such as pipeline blockages caused by the cooling of ammonium phosphate slurry through process innovations.
