The technical transformation project for the comprehensive utilization of coke oven gas in Inner Mongolia Qinghua to produce 200,000 tons of synthetic ammonia is about to start trial production

On August 5, Wusitai Fine Chemicals Co., Ltd., part of Inner Mongolia Qinghua Group, held a meeting to discuss the trial production plans as well as on-site inspections for the project aimed at utilizing coke oven gas to produce 200,000 tons per year of synthetic ammonia, and for the technical upgrade project related to the hydrogenation of 500,000 tons per year of coal tar. The Emergency Management Bureau of the High-Tech Zone and the expert group were invited to attend this meeting, as well as the company’s key officials and relevant staff. During the meeting, the expert group listened to reports on the progress of the construction of the two projects, and conducted on-site inspections of the key processes, equipment, and safety facilities involved. After these inspections, they reviewed documents such as the safety production responsibility system, records related to major hazard sources, as well as records of inspections and drills, and based on both the on-site findings and these documents, provided valuable suggestions and recommendations. The relevant responsible persons of the company assigned specific tasks for addressing the issues raised by the expert group and formulated a plan for making improvements. All members of our company will earnestly implement the suggestions and recommendations put forward by the leaders of the Alxa High-Tech Zone Emergency Management Bureau as well as the expert group, in order to further refine the trial production plan and lay a solid foundation for the smooth progress of the project’s trial production.
