Henan Jinkai Yanhua to produce 886,000 tons of ammonia and 760,000 tons of urea by 2025

By 2025, the company will ensure the safe operation of its facilities; the boiler units will operate continuously for over 360 days per year, while the ammonia synthesis units will operate continuously for over 350 days per year. Throughout the year, 886,000 tons of synthetic ammonia and 760,000 tons of urea were produced, fulfilling the responsibility of ensuring supply and stable production through concrete actions ； Operational efficiency has seen steady growth, with revenue exceeding 3 billion yuan and profits reaching 136 million yuan. Henan Jinkai Yanhua uses coal as raw material and employs a new type of space furnace for gasification, isothermal shift, low-temperature methanol washing, liquid nitrogen washing, as well as 15 MPa low-pressure ammonia synthesis technology to produce synthetic ammonia. It also improves the carbon dioxide stripping process to manufacture urea, and produces methanol as well. The project produces 600,000 tons of synthetic ammonia, 100,000 tons of methanol, and 800,000 tons of urea per year. Driving in August 2024.
