Yima Gasification Plant: Annual system maintenance completed successfully Author/Source: Sinochem News Network Date: May 23, 2019 Clicks: 2 At 1 a.m. on May 20, the Yima Gasification Plant began supplying natural gas to the Yizhou–Zhengzhou gas pipeline network, marking the successful completion of its annual system maintenance work. This has laid a solid foundation for ensuring the plant’s operations run in a stable, efficient, and optimal manner going forward. The current system maintenance and repair at this plant focus on removing sand from the cold box in order to address issues with the high-pressure control valves as well as sealing leaks inside the cold box. The main tasks include replacing the catalysts in the methanol production unit, removing cores from the heat exchangers in the low-temperature methanol washing unit, performing high-pressure cleaning, and conducting pressure tests. A total of 113 control valves and 28 valve actuators throughout the plant need to be replaced; there are 364 tasks in total, with a completion time of 15 days. To ensure the high-quality, efficient, safe, and successful completion of all tasks related to the maintenance and repair of the systems, the factory established a leadership team for such work, holding regular daily meetings to coordinate and oversee the overall progress of the tasks ； It also has 8 teams: production operation, mobile maintenance, safety and environmental protection, material supply, technology and quality control, analysis and testing, logistics support, and publicity, which work together to ensure the smooth progress of maintenance and repair tasks.
