Current uses of gasifiers and syngas at Luxi Chemical: According to the publicly available environmental impact assessment information, Luxi Chemical currently has 7 gasifiers, located in both the western and eastern areas, all of which are in operation. The West Zone has a total of 4 gasification units: Unit 1 has a capacity of 750 t/d, Unit 2 also has a capacity of 750 t/d, Unit 3 has a capacity of 1300 t/d, and Unit 4 has a capacity of 1500 t/d. The production capacity of the gasifier in the West Zone is 4,300 t/d of raw coal. There are 3 gasification units in the East Area, with Units 1#, 2# and 3# all having a capacity of 1500 t/d. The production capacity of the gasifier in the East Area is 4,500 t/d of raw coal. The 2 x 750 t/d gasifiers in the West Area were constructed as part of a renovation project aimed at increasing annual urea production to 300,000 tons, as a result of adjustments to the raw material supply and power supply systems. Once the raw material supply platform project is completed, 2 750t/d gasifiers, 1 1500t/d gasifier, and 2 more 1500t/d gasifiers will be phased out gradually.
