The first phase of the relocation and technological upgrading project of Jiangsu Jinmei Hengsheng utilizes two Aerospace Maiwei furnaces, Huashuo shift converters, low-temperature methanol washing units, nitrogen wash units, Casale ammonia synthesis technology, and Keyong sulfur recovery technology. This setup enables an annual production capacity of 400,000 tons of synthetic ammonia, 600,000 tons of urea, and 47,800 tons of concentrated sulfuric acid. Drive in April 2025. According to Jinneng Holding Equipment Manufacturing Group, in July 2025, the 40・60 project of Xin Hengsheng Company produced 63,000 tons of ammonia and 79,500 tons of urea, with an average coal consumption of 1,300 kilograms per ton of ammonia produced. According to a report by Shanxi Chemical Industry in September 2025, the 40·60 relocation project of Xin Hengsheng Company can produce up to 2,256 tons of ammonia per day; the coal and electricity consumption per ton of ammonia produced are both lower than the values specified in the design. As reported by JinKong Xinhengsheng in March 2026, for the 40·60 relocation project, the carbon content in the coarse slag residue is ≤1%, and that in the fine slag residue is ≤20%. The coal consumption per ton of ammonia produced is 1290 kg, while the oxygen consumption per ton of ammonia produced is 580 m3. All these key consumption indicators are at advanced levels compared to those in the same industry. Jinkong Xinhengsheng has also implemented several measures to reduce costs and improve efficiency. Modify the coal mill to ensure that the qualification rate of pulverized coal is ≥88%; promote the modification of the vibrating hopper to achieve stable operation; and conduct experiments on blending 10%-20% anthracite with other coals.
