What does the shaded part mean? What do those letters F, H, D, and R mean?
There should be relevant logo explanations on the PID homepage...
E represents the heat exchanger, and the number indicates the position number of the heat exchanger.

There are some in the insulation legend, including F, H, P, D, etc.
You can ask the design institute to provide the homepage picture. E stands for heat exchanger and H stands for thermal insulation.
