Recently, Zhongkong Technology successfully won the bid for the overall plant control system framework project for the Jintang New Materials Project of Rongsheng New Materials (Zhoushan) Co., Ltd. (referred to as the “Jintang New Materials Project”), and a kick-off meeting was held at the Zhongkong Technology Park. The project is expected to deploy a DCS system with up to 360,000 I/O points, an SIS system with 15,000 points, and a GDS system with 10,000 points. At the same time, a range of cutting-edge new products and technologies, such as UCS’s control systems Nyx and SmartEIO, real-time databases capable of handling millions of data points, and calorific value analysis tools, will also be used on a large scale in this project, helping Jintang New Materials build a globally leading intelligent factory. This is yet another world-class industry benchmark project created jointly by Central Control Technology and Rongsheng Group, following their successful cooperation on the Phase 1, Phase 2, and Phase 3 projects of Zhejiang Petrochemical. It serves to drive Rongsheng Group’s digital transformation, enhance the group’s core competitiveness, and provide strong impetus for the development of the industry! As a high-end chemical materials industry base under Zhejiang Rongsheng Holding Group, this project has a total investment of around 76 billion yuan. It relies primarily on the raw materials available at the Zhoushan Green Petrochemical Base and the Ningbo CICC Petrochemical Base, with the aim of developing industrial chains for high-end chemicals such as polyolefins and engineering plastics. Once completed and put into operation, it will serve as an important support for Zhejiang Province’s high-end chemical materials industry. At the kick-off meeting, Shi Axiao, General Manager of Rongsheng New Materials (Zhoushan) Co., Ltd., stated that the philosophy of SUPCON Technology regarding independent innovation aligns closely with the Rongsheng Group’s values of innovative development. In particular, SUPCON Technology has accumulated extensive expertise and numerous successful implementation cases in the field of high-end chemical materials, which fully demonstrates its outstanding capabilities. This, in turn, lays a solid foundation for cooperation between the two parties on this project. Rongsheng Group has great confidence in ControlTech and looks forward to making further use of ControlTech’s new products and technologies for the plant control system project at Jintang New Materials, in order to create high-quality projects and expand cooperation opportunities in the areas of digitalization and intelligent transformation. Project Proposal Introduction: Through thorough preliminary analysis and needs assessment, Zhongkong Technology has developed an overall construction plan for the Rongsheng New Materials project, based on the new \"1+2+N\" intelligent factory architecture. In the development of its plant control system, the Jintang New Materials project has set strict technical standards for key systems such as the intelligent operation and management control system OMC, the safety instrumented system SIS, and the gas detection system GDS. In this project, the I/O capacity of ZONKONTROL’s OMC system is expected to reach 360,000 points, setting a new benchmark for the scale of control system applications in process industries and demonstrating once again ZONKONTROL’s outstanding product capabilities. At the same time, the project will also deploy Nyx, the latest general control system product from UCS, a technology specialized in application central control. Through its minimalist \"cloud-network-end\" architecture, Nyx realizes the design concepts of software-defined, fully digital, and cloud-native approaches. This innovation not only overturns the technical architecture of traditional DCS systems but also brings new possibilities to the field of industrial automation, enabling significant reductions in project costs; it will deliver substantial benefits in terms of production and operations for the Jintang New Materials project. In addition, the Jintang New Materials project will make full use of Nyx’s intelligent site solutions, including the SmartEIO data transmission solution. By integrating APL technology, SmartEIO offers users comprehensive solutions that cover instruments, networks, control systems, and applications. It adopts a unified network architecture that supports redundant 100 Mbps high-speed networks, as well as unified broadband and protocols, enabling highly flexible integration. This approach also increases the utilization rate of cabinets, providing users with the advantage of cost reduction and efficiency improvement. It will facilitate the comprehensive digital and intelligent upgrading of the Jintang New Materials project. On December 7, 2024, the process technology for Rongsheng New Materials (Zhoushan) Co., Ltd.’s 200,000-ton/year POE production facility in Jintang, which was developed by the R&D center of Zhejiang Zhiying Petrochemical Technology Co., Ltd. and engineered by Shanghai Zhiying Chemical Technology Co., Ltd., successfully passed the \"First Domestic Workshop on Process Safety and Reliability Assessment\" organized by the Zhejiang Chemical Safety Association.
