Suspension bag centrifuges are widely used for separation and filtration in many chemical and pharmaceutical companies. It features high speed and low cost, and is highly favored by manufacturers. Let’s take a brief look at the advantages of suspension bag centrifuges and the precautions for their use: Advantages of suspension bag centrifuges: 1. An inverter is used for starting, ensuring stable operation; the separation coefficient can be adjusted. 2. Bagging and unloading require less physical effort and result in higher work efficiency. 3. The structural design is reasonable, with the stainless steel tank welded to the platform. It has hygienic dead corners, a polished surface, and its external components as well as the drum mesh plates are made of stainless steel. The casing features a large flip-top design, which facilitates cleaning the material between the centrifuge casing and the drum! 4. Equipped with an online cleaning system that allows for the cleaning of the centrifuge while it is in operation, and can clean the invisible parts inside the centrifuge, such as the inner walls of the centrifuge chamber and the inner and outer surfaces of the drum. Meets the equipment requirements in GMP guidelines. 5. Simple structure, easy to operate and maintain. A hanging bag centrifuge is a type of intermittent centrifugal separation and filtration equipment. It is a modified model based on the conventional three-legged centrifuge. Start-up is controlled via the frequency converter system. It operates stably, gradually accelerating while maintaining smooth performance at startup. The spindle driven pulley is powered by a belt, causing the drum to rotate at high speed and creating a centrifugal force field. The mixture to be separated enters through the feed pipe on the top cover of the drum. Under the action of centrifugal force, the material is evenly distributed on the filter cloth wall of the centrifugal drum; the liquid is thrown out of the drum through the filter cloth and the holes in the drum, and then discharged through the drainage outlet. The solid material that remains is in the filter bags of the drum. After some time, the material reaches the large volume of the drum, where liquid removal begins; once it has been dried, the material can be lifted out. Hang the hook on the eyelet of the lifting plate, lift the lifting plate and the filter cake along with the hook out of the drum, and raise them to the designated discharge position – thus completing one operation cycle. Precautions for installation – Suspension bag centrifuge: 1. When the centrifuge is to be placed on a horizontal surface, make sure that the platform is level; there should be no gaps between the lower surfaces of the four anti-vibration feet and the ground. 2. After determining the position, drill a hole at the screw hole of the seismic bracing to insert a fixing foot screw for fixation 3. After the machine is powered on, it is necessary to check the operation of the motor. It was found to meet the instructions in the installation manual. Before operating the machine, make sure to push the pin into the pin slot. The startup method is: turn on the power, then press the “Low Speed” button on the inverter panel to start the machine. It is generally operated in three levels: high, medium, and low. Generally, it starts at low speed, then at medium speed, followed by feeding, and finally at high speed for dehydration. The start-up sequence of the bag centrifuge is as follows 4. Note: Electrical boxes and control cabinets should be placed on-site according to site requirements. If there are flammable or explosive gases or liquids at the production site, explosion-proof operation buttons 5 should be installed there. When installing the filter cloth, it should be placed evenly. When tightening the stop screw, do not squeeze the filter cloth together. It is necessary to pull it evenly. When placing it in the drum, it must be secured to the drum wall as much as possible. It’s quite good, forming a complete design with the drum. Pre-production precautions: ① First is the inspection before starting up. Conduct a rough inspection of the centrifuge and the platform to check for any debris or obvious differences on the platform. Then open the lid and check whether there are any foreign objects inside the drum. Check whether the filter cloth is laid evenly and whether the fastening screws of the filter cloth are tightened. ② Upon inspection, it is normal. Close the rear cover, tighten the cover handle, and seal the cylinder. ③ Observe the behavior of the various indicator lights inside the inverter’s electrical cabinet. Once it is confirmed that there are no fault lights, the machine can be used. Press the “Low Speed” button, and the machine starts running! When the “low speed” frequency is reached, the light turns on, and then feeding begins ④; observe through the mirror on the centrifuge. When the liquid feed reaches its limit, close the feed valve and press the “medium speed” button to start centrifugal separation. When the liquid outlet of the discharge pipe is significantly reduced to no water left, we carry out cleaning in accordance with the requirements of the production process {some cases do not require cleaning}. We press the “high speed” button; once the centrifuge reaches a high speed of dehydration after cleaning, the material proceeds to the dehydration and drying stage. ⑤ When almost no liquid more flows out of the centrifuge’s outlet, it indicates that the material has been poured out and dried, at which point the centrifuge is stopped. ⑧ After the machine has come to a complete stop, gently open the handle on the shell cover flange to prevent the spring mechanism from snapping open immediately, as this could pose a danger. After opening the cover, move the crane to the center of the drum, hang the chain and hook on the lifting plate’s eyelets, connect the filtering rope to the middle of the drum’s filter cloth, remove all pins between the hanging plate and the drum, and verify. The operator lifts the lifting plate upward to the designated unloading position, releases the tie cord at the filter center, and unloads the dried material. ⑨ After unloading the material, the filter bag is brought back into the drum, the pin and cover are inserted, and then one cycle is completed.
