Is the fire classification for the accident tank designed as Class C? Can placing it underground reduce the required spacing? Compared to other Class C properties, office buildings, etc
2 When the adjacent exterior walls of the two warehouses are both firewalls, the fire separation distance can be reduced; however, for Class C warehouses, it should not be less than 6 m； For Class D and Class E warehouses, it should not be less than 4m. When the higher outer wall of two adjacent warehouses serves as a fire wall, or in the case of two adjacent buildings with the same height and classified as fire resistance ratings 1 or 2, where either of the outer walls on adjacent sides functions as a fire wall and the fire resistance rating of the roof is not less than 1.00 hour, and the total floor area does not exceed the maximum allowable floor area for one warehouse as specified in Article 3.3.2 of these regulations, then there is no requirement for a fire separation distance between them. It’s all underground, so does that count as a four-sided firewall?
