Recently, the Hami New Energy Coal Chemical New Materials Project, for which Hualu Company, affiliated with Sinochem, is responsible for overall planning, chief design, all auxiliary systems across the plant, and the foundation design of the gasification unit, was officially signed. This project is a concrete demonstration of Hualu Company’s commitment to the \"T+EPC\" approach, where technology drives progress and the company takes overall responsibility. The project is located in the Santanghu Industrial Park in Bariqun, Hami City, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, with a total investment of approximately 17.13 billion yuan. Hualu Company is responsible for the overall project design as well as the basic design of the gasification units. The project uses coal ash as raw material to produce 1.2 million tons of methanol per year; from this methanol, 400,000 tons of MMA/PMMA are manufactured annually. Once operational, it will enable the conversion of over 3.05 million tons of coal per year on-site, thereby further extending the industrial chain of the coal-based chemical industry and improving the new energy system. This will play a positive role in promoting economic development and social stability in the Xinjiang and Hami regions.
Hualu has this capability, but owners still need to carefully assess the designers who join various project teams; those who lack the necessary skills should be rejected by the owners. One should not give up their authority for the sake of face, and should not trust such people lightly.
There’s no activity on this project anymore; it’s probably dead.
There are many similar projects in Xinjiang; the project is first submitted, and the land and coal resources are seized first, and then nothing happens anymore...
Amazing, haha; indeed, there are many such low-quality coal chemical projects
