On July 21, an invitation for bids was issued for the design and equipment procurement of a methanol-to-hydrogen plant with a capacity of 15,000 Nm³/h, as part of Guangxi Free Trade Zone Chuan Gui Lin Gang New Energy Co., Ltd.’s 300,000 tons per year biomass liquid fuel project. According to the tender announcement, the construction site for the 300,000 tons per year biomass liquid fuel production project of Guangxi Free Trade Zone Chuan Gui Lin Gang New Energy Co., Ltd. is located to the west of Nangang Avenue in Qinzhou Port, and to the south of the Qinzhou Port railway traction station. With an investment of around 840 million yuan and covering an area of about 130 mu, it uses waste animal and plant oils as raw materials, including gutter oil, swill oil, acidified oil, fatty acids, etc. It employs a two-stage hydrogenation process to produce biodiesel (HVO) and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). Scope of the tender: 1. Design (excluding civil engineering foundations): Design, on-site supervision for installation, technical services, personnel training, assistance with commissioning, and performance testing for a methanol cracking hydrogen production unit with a production capacity of 15,000 Nm³/h. 2. Equipment procurement: This includes 1 set of methanol cracking hydrogen production unit with a capacity of 15,000 Nm³/h, along with various supporting non-standard/standard process equipment, instruments (including programmable valves), catalysts and adsorbents, as well as spare parts required for operation (including replacement parts). Planned delivery time: 1. Design period: Detailed design results shall be submitted within 12 weeks from the date the contract comes into effect. 2. Duration of design services: From the date the contract comes into effect until the project is completed and accepted. 3. Equipment delivery deadline: 8 months from the date the contract comes into effect. Agents and consortia are not permitted to submit bids for this project.
