Should a glass plate sightglass be installed on the vapor line of the distillation kettle?

Today I saw a P&ID diagram of a distillation vessel, and there was a glass panel sightglass on the vapor line. I suddenly have a question for everyone: should a glass panel sightglass be installed on the vapor line of a distillation vessel?
If the temperature and pressure permit, and if the process requires it, it is also possible to install glass sight glasses.
Judging from the reaction vessels and related facilities in their workshop, the reaction system is a constant-pressure system; in most factories, what can be seen on the gas-phase pipelines are simply pipes, but they have installed a glass sight glass on their gas-phase pipelines: L
