Tianchen Company signed an EPC general contract for the project of converting coke oven gas into LNG at Inner Mongolia Hengkun Chemical Co., Ltd., which is part of Shandong Energy Xin Kuang Group. Recently, China National Chemical Corporation Tianchen Company entered into such a contract with Inner Mongolia Hengkun Chemical Co., Ltd. for the construction of a facility capable of producing 2.6 million tons of compacted coke per year (with an initial capacity of 1.3 million tons per year, along with an LNG production unit). Xiao Qinghua, member of the Party Committee and deputy general manager of Shandong Energy New Mine Group; Liu Jiyuan, chairman of Inner Mongolia Hengkun Chemical Co., Ltd.; and Guo Guihe, secretary of the Party Committee and chairman of Tianchen Company, attended the signing ceremony. Tianchen expressed its gratitude to Shandong Energy New Mine Group for the trust and support it has provided over the years. It also noted that the partnership between Tianchen and New Mine Group has a long history and strong foundations; both parties have always adhered to the principle of mutual trust and mutual benefit, thereby establishing a solid basis for cooperation in the field of energy and chemicals. Working together once again to advance the Hengkun Chemicals project for producing LNG from coke oven gas is not only a reflection of the strong alignment between the strategic goals and development philosophies of both parties, but also an important step toward deepening cooperation and pursuing common development.
