Shortlisted candidate for the biomass gasification process package of Sunlight New Energy’s 250,000-ton green methanol project

On December 23, the list of candidates shortlisted for the procurement of the biomass gasification process package and specialized equipment needed for the annual production of 250,000 tons of green methanol in the integrated demonstration project of wind, solar, hydrogen production, and biomass-based green methanol development by Yangguang New Energy Development Co., Ltd. in Daan, Jilin, was made public. Name of the winning bidder: Ningxia Shenyao Technology Co., Ltd. Announcement of shortlisted candidates for the procurement of the synthesis process package for 250,000 tons per year of green methanol. Name of the winning bidder: Shanghai International Construction Engineering Consulting Co., Ltd. Announcement of shortlisted candidates for the procurement of the MDEA decarbonization process package for the production of 250,000 tons of green methanol per year. Name of the winning bidder: Sichuan Dakota Energy Technology Co., Ltd. Announcement of shortlisted candidates for the procurement of the distillation process package for 250,000 tons per year of green methanol. Name of the winning bidder: Tianjin Tianta Beiyang Chemical Equipment Co., Ltd. Daanan Chengyang Green Hydrogen Energy Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Sungrow Power Supply, plans to invest 1.66 billion yuan to build facilities for water electrolysis to produce hydrogen, biomass gasification, methanol synthesis, as well as related supporting systems and storage and transportation infrastructure in the Daanan Economic Development Zone of Baicheng. The designed production capacity is approximately 250,000 tons of green methanol per year. From August 14th to 15th, the overall design review meeting for the Phase I of the integrated demonstration project for wind-solar hydrogen production coupled with biomass-based green methanol development by Yangguang New Energy Development Co., Ltd. in Daan, Jilin was successfully held at China National Chemical Corporation Donghua Branch.
