This device for eliminating static electricity in the human body can also serve as an electrical connector for tools such as sampling ropes and measuring rods used during manual measurement. According to Clause 10.3.1.6 of the \"Code for Design of Oil Storage Tanks\" (GB50737-2011), a set of equipment for eliminating static electricity from the human body should be installed 1.5 meters away on each side of the sampling port on the floating roof of the oil tank; sampling ropes, gauging tools, and other equipment should be connected to this equipment. The facility should be electrically connected to the tank and grounded. SH/T 3097-2017, \"Code for Design of Static Electricity Grounding in Petrochemical Industries\", 5.2.2: A set of equipment for eliminating human body static electricity shall be installed 1.5 m away on each side of the sampling port (oil measuring port) on the tank top platform; such equipment shall be electrically connected to the tank body and grounded. \"Safety Technical Code for Vertical Cylindrical Welded Steel Storage Tanks\" (AQ 3053-2015) 8.2.4: In the area where flammable liquid storage tanks are located, a set of equipment for eliminating static electricity from the human body should be installed 1.5 meters away on each side of the tank top platform/float roof sampling ports; such equipment shall be connected to the tank body and grounded. Recommendation for improvement: In storage areas for flammable liquids of categories A, B, and CA, a set of human body static electricity discharge devices must be installed near each metering sampling port, in accordance with relevant standards. Most oil depots install only one such set at the metering ports, which is contrary to the regulations; however, if conditions do not permit the installation of one set at each side of the metering port at a distance of 1.5 meters, at least one set should be installed to eliminate static electricity from personnel during operations, ensuring that it is properly grounded.
