I would like to ask fellow sailors: when filling out the pipeline table, how should the design temperature and design pressure of the safety valve outlet be determined?
Should the amount of emissions be measured based on the feed rate of the equipment? ?
Design pressure: 0.4 MPa gauge, design temperature: 200 degrees
Personally, I feel that the back pressure of the safety valve is more like an operating condition; are the design parameters determined based on that?
I was wondering if there is any source for this? Are there any guidelines or something regarding empirical values?
According to the codes for pressure pipeline design, the design pressure of a pipeline must not be lower than that of the equipment it is connected to. The design pressure for the flare liquid separation tank is specified as 0.35 MPa; therefore, the design pressure for the flare pipeline network can be set at 0.4 MPa. As the flare pipeline network requires low-pressure steam purging, the design temperature is set at 200 degrees
This post was last edited by bfdlwolf on 2019-5-31 15:24 (SH3009-2013): The design pressure of the pipes before the water seal tank must not be lower than the design pressure of the liquid separation tank, and the design pressure of the pipes after the water seal tank must not be lower than the design pressure of the water seal tank itself; 8.1.5 The design pressure of the liquid separation tank shall not be lower than 350 KPa, and the external pressure shall not be lower than 30 KPa ; 8.2.11 The design pressure of the water seal tank shall not be lower than 0.7 MPa, and the external pressure shall not be lower than 30 KPa. Therefore, the design pressure of the safety valve outlet pipeline shall not be lower than 0.35 MPa. The design temperature can be determined in accordance with 7.2.3 (which specifies the temperature for stress calculation)
