The reaction vessel is where dilute sulfuric acid and sodium silicate react; the temperature is 95 degrees, and the pH level ranges from 2 to 14. Currently, there is a plan to monitor the acidity and alkalinity online. The proposed approach involves installing a pipe at the bottom of the reaction vessel, using a pump to draw the liquid upward and create a circulation system. I am looking for recommendations regarding pH meters that can be installed on this pipe. However, due to the high temperature of the solution, ordinary pH meter electrodes cannot withstand such high temperatures. I wonder if anyone has any other good solutions or suitable pH meters – please advise
1. As mentioned on the 2nd floor, add a cooler before adjusting the pH. 2. Choose a lower flow rate for the circulation pump, so that the temperature of the cooled solution does not affect the original solution’s temperature too much.

The stirring and material loading in our reactor are extremely poor! On the glass electrode in Toledo, the glass bulb and the tetrafluoro layer tend to get covered with residues that cannot be washed off; these residues adhere very strongly, and after just 8 hours of operation, a layer of such residues forms.
