I would like to ask the experts on this forum: does anyone know a purification process for 1,3-butadiene at a low concentration of 70%? We are a manufacturer of styrene-butadiene rubber. The recovery rate of butadiene after use is around 70%, and currently it is disposed of through incineration. The company plans to install a purification system; we would appreciate the help of those with experience on this forum. Thank you

The main consideration is the amount of material that can be recycled to determine whether it is worth recycling or not. If the amount of material is sufficient for recycling, it may be considered to accumulate a certain amount of material first, extract butadiene from it, and then purify it through distillation to remove 1,2-BD and dimers. Extraction and distillation purification are batch processes.
There is a problem with the composition above: why is the level of 1-butene so high? This indicates that the butadiene you purchased is not of qualified quality. If the purity requirement for butadiene is not high, it is sufficient to use a regular distillation tower to purify it somewhat; 1-butene cannot be removed in this process
