Can several monitoring points of a heat transfer oil boiler be sealed with PTFE tape?

As the title suggests, for example, if I want to monitor the temperature by connecting a thermocouple to a pipe, I weld it to the pipe – it’s an internal-threaded sleeve that is welded to the oil pipeline, and the thermocouple is then secured in place with tape wrapped around it. The oil temperature is around 230 degrees; I would like to know what type of tape I should use Is ordinary polytetrafluoroethylene sufficient, or is another material needed?
Generally speaking, heat transfer oil has strong permeability and poses high-temperature hazards; it is therefore better to use metal wound gaskets.

But in some places it is thread-sealed, so there’s no way around it
Are the casing and the testing equipment connected by threads or are they welded together as a single unit?
Threaded connection is also acceptable; use a gasket at the threaded end.
