Wanhua Chemical is recruiting Process Development Engineers (R&D). Number of positions: 5. Location: Yantai, Shandong. Job responsibilities: 1) Participate in the process development of the company’s independent R&D projects (including pilot-scale, industrialization, and technical improvement projects), with the aim of bringing these projects to commercial production. 2) Based on the process routes, experimental data, and physical property parameters provided by the laboratory, participate in investigations, research, calculations, and design to carry out scale-up development from laboratory scale to plant-scale production. 3) Participate in the design of the basic process package for independently developed projects (refer to SHSG-052 and related materials). 4) Participate in the design and development of technical upgrades and capacity expansions for the company’s existing production facilities. 5) Participate in coordinating with the design institute to complete the detailed design of development projects, and provide technical support for equipment installation, commissioning, operation, and other related aspects. Job requirements: 1) Relevant majors and fields such as chemical engineering, chemical technology, petroleum refining technology, systems engineering, and polymer engineering. 2) At least 3 years of work experience in a design institute, engineering company, or petrochemical or chemical industry enterprise. 3) Familiar with chemical process flows, unit operations, and the principles of chemical equipment, with certain capabilities in process design (priority given to those with experience in the process engineering field at design institutes or engineering companies). 4) Understand the basic methods and processes such as process simulation, heat exchanger calculation, and column calculation. 5) Involved in the process development, process design, or production operation and modification of 1–2 chemical engineering projects, serving as the main contributor. 6) Good compressive strength and English listening and speaking skills.
