If aluminum chloride polymerization is used for the treatment of 3,000 tons at 35% concentration, the equipment investment is around 2 million yuan; this process yields 2,500 tons of solid aluminum chloride polymer, with a cost of 800–1,000 yuan per ton. The selling price is 2,000 yuan per ton, and no wastewater is generated. There is waste residue to be sold to brick factories.
Getting other manufacturers to accept it isn’t the best approach, as production will then be subject to their control; it’s better to install water treatment agent production equipment in one’s own factory. If there is a market for such agents in the vicinity, it’s sufficient to produce them in that form, and the investment required is not large.
