What is a wet-type flammable gas storage tank, and what is a dry-type one? What’s the difference?
Wet-type air storage tank: The lower part is a water tank, while the upper part consists of several liftable, sleeve-shaped sections made of welded steel plates. The tower section rises and falls as the air storage volume changes. Water seals are provided between the tower sections to ensure the connection and sealing between them. Dry air storage tank: The tank body is an upright cylinder made of welded steel plates, and it contains a piston inside; the gas is stored below the piston. The piston moves up and down depending on the amount of air stored. A sealing mechanism is installed around the piston to prevent the escape of the stored gas. A weight is placed on the top surface of the piston to achieve the desired air storage pressure. The sealing methods for dry air storage tanks include oil-sealing, grease-sealing, and flexible membrane sealing.

Wet and dry types are primarily related to gas storage tanks, not to combustible gases. The geometric volume of low-pressure combustible gas storage tanks is variable, and they can be of wet or dry type.
