Did the conversion catalyst suddenly drop by dozens of degrees?

During normal operation! At point C in the upper section of the secondary converter, the temperature suddenly rose by 20 degrees before dropping by over 40 degrees! The instrument temperature point has also been verified! It’s not fake! Please give your advice
Is temperature measurement done using a thermocouple probe? Is there no change at the probe tip? The cycle of visible changes is around 7 minutes; if it were a medium, there wouldn’t be such a rapid response, so it should be the changes at the measurement points
