How is online monitoring of salt and nitrate co-production achieved?

I have been researching the salt-nitrate co-production process recently, but after a long search I couldn’t find any relevant information. Therefore, I’m turning to experts here: is sampling and testing the only method used in salt-nitrate co-production? ---There is also a problem with sampling for testing: the solution is in a saturated state at high temperatures when sampled, and once it cools down, crystallization occurs, making it difficult to imagine how accurate results can be obtained through testing.
