Things about standards

I often see people talking about various standards and specifications. I wonder where I can find these standards – should I buy printed books or search for them online? It seems that there isn’t any detailed guidance available in China, or maybe I’m just too inexperienced. Also, it appears that many of these standards require registration as a member in order to download them, through sites like Daokebaba, Douding.com, or Baidu Wenku. It’s all so confusing; is there a unified place where I can find these standards?

However, most resources can be found on various websites; those that offer more comprehensive information, like the site mentioned by the original poster, require registration as a member or something similar. There’s no such thing as a free lunch; rather than spending real money, it’s better for the poster to spend some time registering as a member.

As for free downloads, it’s completely possible to do so using download tools like BingDian. I’m not sure if my answer is adequate, haha.
