For the refrigeration unit used in the workshop, part of compressor No. 1 is frosted; the suction pressure is 0.5 MPA and the exhaust temperature is 75 degrees, which is within normal ranges. Compressor No. 2 has severe frosting; the suction pressure is 0.15 MPA and the exhaust temperature is 45 degrees. Let’s discuss what could be the reasons for this
It’s possible that liquid has entered the suction line of the compressor
The evaporation rate is insufficient; check if there is a blockage on the process side
The suction pressure is too low; it’s likely that the refrigerant isn’t evaporating or that it has run out.
