Should the pressure control valve for the buffer tank be installed at the inlet or outlet of the buffer tank?
Generally, a buffer tank is used as a buffering container on the low-pressure side to stabilize the pressure there. Therefore, placing the pressure regulating valve at the inlet is a reasonable choice. If there are different circumstances in the process, that’s another matter.
