What do the numbers that follow CN, N, and V in reaction vessels mean? What do these numbers and letters signify?

Letters represent the instrument numbers of devices with different nozzles, while numbers are the sequence numbers
This isn’t a reaction kettle either; it’s a horizontal tank!
N denotes the pipe port through which the equipment is connected to the process pipeline； CN denotes the port connected to the gauge, V denotes the port connected to the vent pipe, and the number represents the tag number of that device port. Of course, this is the numbering convention used in your institute*. Different engineering companies and design firms use slightly different codes for identifying the ports on equipment, but generally they use symbols such as N (process port), L (level gauge), P (pressure gauge), T (temperature gauge), etc., to indicate the purpose of each port on the equipment. This is useful for preparing summary tables of container connections in process systems, and it also facilitates work by downstream teams involved in equipment and piping design
V-105 is the tank number
