I have a question: Model 50316 includes reinforcement for the extruded outlet branch. What is the structure of such an extruded outlet branch, and how is it constructed? Are there any requirements for dimensions such as the length and wall thickness of the extrusion lead tube? Are there any relevant standards that can be referred to? Is the branch pipe welded to the lead pipe? Is it butt welding or some other type of welding? Thank you all.

1. The branch pipe is formed by extrusion; from the perspective of piping components, it is an extruded tee, with the diameter of the branch pipe being much smaller than that of the main pipe. 2. Extruded tees are manufactured in specialized factories, not on-site, and thus there are no issues related to welding them to the main pipe. The connection between the outlet branch pipe and the pipe to which it is connected is made by butt welding. 3. The height and thickness of the outlet branch pipe depend on the thickness of the main pipe blank, as well as on the diameter and thickness of the branch pipe; these three factors are interrelated. It can be thought of this way: the volume of metal in the area where the billet is extruded equals the volume resulting from the thickness and height of the branch tube. 4. During the addition process, not the entire height is valid; as the height increases, the wall thickness decreases, so it is necessary to remove the portion of height corresponding to the ineffective thickness.
What is this extrusion method? I can’t imagine it.
