Dear sea friends, when there are operations with different fire hazards (Class A) within a factory building, and the area occupied by those operations with higher fire hazards accounts for less than 5% of the total floor area of that fire protection zone, is it still necessary to design those areas with higher fire hazards in accordance with Class A standards?
Yes, that area within the factory building should be designed according to Class A standards. If it’s a warehouse, all of them currently need to be designed as Class A.
GB50016 makes it clear that it is not necessary
