The reason for designing min and mix in this way is,
The minimum is understandable, but the maximum is not. Additionally, max
min denotes the minimum distance, and is generally used to indicate the straight pipe sections before and after a flow meter. Max means to stay as far away as possible; it’s seen relatively rarely.
The nearest distances are usually quite large, such as those for valves and drain pipes; the farthest distances are generally designed to be smaller
