Are manual valves required before and after the belt-type fan in exhaust gas treatment? Same as the pump inlet and outlet? Why?
In exhaust gas treatment systems, manual valves are generally not required in front of or behind belt fans. Unlike pumps, belt fans generate a positive air pressure during operation, so no additional manual valve is needed to control the flow rate. The channels before and after the belt-type fan are directly connected, and the air volume and pressure of the system are controlled by adjusting the fan’s speed or blade angle. Therefore, manual valves are generally not required in exhaust gas treatment to control the inlet and outlet of belt fans. .
