Master, please help me find out where the shaded part of the elbow connecting the equipment is facing and how to look at it.
First confirm the direction of true north, which is marked in the upper left corner of the drawing. According to the data, the direction in the upper right corner is north.: Figure 1, the elbow direction is south, and then offsets east. The offset angle is arctan-1(622/226)=71.2 degrees, which is 71.2 degrees south by east, or 18.8 degrees east by south (90-71.2).
I just used a calculator to calculate, tan-1 (226/622)=19.968 deg. Is 18.8 deg incorrect?
Can you tell me whether the elbow is shifted to the southeast? Can you tell from the shadow alone or combined with the coordinates?
