Does the breather valve need to be two-way? Does the emergency pressure relief valve also need to be bidirectional? ? ?
The pressure relief valve does not have a two-way function. With a nitrogen seal, the breather valve is one-way.
It is determined based on the design pressure of the storage tank. Atmospheric pressure tanks are generally designed with a pressure range of -0.5 kPa to 5.6 kPa; the pressure relief valve should be set at a value lower than this design pressure, while the pressure of the breather valve is usually set at 0.3 kPa. If a nitrogen seal is in place, a breathing valve is generally not used; instead, only a nitrogen exhaust pipe is installed. The pressure is kept within a certain range, which can be set between 0.5 and 2 kPa
The pressure in flat-roof storage tanks is generally controlled at -1 to 2 KPa
Like a breathing valve, the explosion vent can be opened or closed
