Emission tube. Most coal chemical projects have emission stacks.

The steam outlet should at least prevent people from getting burned. Hydrogen needs to be discharged at a higher point with a flame arrester, while toxic gases are discharged through a spray tower
Yes, but coal chemical plants’ emission stacks generally release only a small amount of SO2, around 100 meters. If you are steam or nitrogen, you can discharge it directly into the atmosphere; there is no need for such a tall exhaust stack.

Steam is released into the atmosphere; to prevent burns, there should be specified requirements regarding height or insulation, and these rules must be followed. Nitrogen is also vented directly. Some of the components in the air are nitrogen and water vapor; that’s all there is. When dealing with flammable gases, a flare is necessary; the flare must be equipped with devices to prevent backflow of flame, and its height should be determined in accordance with relevant regulations
According to the urban gas regulations, the outlet of the safety valve for liquefied petroleum gas must be at least 2 meters above the tank platform and at least 5 meters above the ground level. There’s no further detail on this matter; I think it’s better to connect it to a flare system for safety reasons. It’s indeed terrifying when the safety valve activates and starts spraying gas
